What you agree to when you live here.
Our rules exist for one reason: to keep the house safe and sober for everyone in it. Here's an honest summary of what we ask of residents. The full details are in the resident agreement you'll review at intake.
Sobriety comes first
- Zero tolerance for alcohol, illegal drugs, or paraphernalia, on or off the property.
- Random and scheduled drug and alcohol testing; refusing a test is treated as a positive result.
- All prescription medications are disclosed at intake. Residents manage their own medication in a provided lockbox.
- Medication-assisted treatment (Suboxone, Vivitrol, Methadone) is supported with proper prescriber documentation.
Respect for the home and each other
- Treat staff and fellow residents with courtesy and respect, with no harassment, intimidation, or abuse.
- No taking or using another resident's property or food without asking.
- No pornography and no gambling on the property.
- Keep your space clean, make your bed, and keep food out of the bedrooms.
- Take part in weekly chores and the daily upkeep of shared areas.
Co-ed boundaries
- Men and women do not share a bedroom unless legally married.
- No resident is in the bedroom of a resident of the opposite sex, at any time.
- Romantic or sexual relationships between residents are not permitted.
- Modest attire in all common areas.
Curfew & recovery participation
- A stricter curfew applies during your first 30 days; after that, typical curfew is around 10:00 PM on weeknights and later on weekends.
- Attend your required recovery meetings each week, verified by a sponsor or chairperson.
- Stay engaged in work, job searching, school, or outpatient treatment.
- Use the sign in / sign out system so the house always knows you're safe.
- Attend the mandatory weekly house meeting.
Guests & visitors
- Guests are welcome in common areas during posted daytime hours, and must be approved in advance.
- No overnight guests.
- Residents are responsible for their guests' conduct.
Safety & privacy
- Your participation here is confidential and not shared without your written permission, except as required by law.
- For everyone's safety, management may inspect rooms and belongings.
- Park only in designated areas.
- There's a clear grievance process if you ever feel your rights weren't respected.
Consequences, plainly
Using drugs or alcohol, refusing a test, violence, theft, or sexual misconduct means immediate discharge. Smaller rule violations are documented, and repeated violations can also lead to discharge. None of this is meant to be harsh. It's what keeps the home safe for the people who depend on it.
